Description:	Area, including Down & Up Saltburn lines from Darlington to 5mp, and Down/Up Bishop Auckland linefrom Darlington to 1.5mp resignalled and control transferred to Tyneside IECC. Ferryhill box now signals line to Stillington only. Down & Up Leamside lines taken OOU. Most existing signals retained and renumbered. Full bi-di signalling provided at Darlington Station, plus on Down Main/Platform line at Durham Station. SIMBIDS provided elsewhere between Northallerton and Ouston. Various stageworks.
